The Coeur d’Alene Airport (COE) is one of the most active General Aviation Airports in the West. The location essentially in the middle of Kootenai County along with excellent facilities, clear approaches and ample space (approximately 1,200 acres) make it the airport of choice for non-commercial carriers. It is the home to over 135 corporate and private aircraft and provides access for aviation education, emergency medical transport and is the home base for the U.S. Forest Service Fire-Fighter Bomber. COE offers a full ILS approach and has an on-site weather observation system, which provides up-to-the-minute weather reports.
Citylink is a partnership between the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, the Kootenai Metropolitan Planning Organization, the State of Idaho and Kootenai County. Citylink provides free public transportation for employment, education, medical appointments, shopping, recreation, entertainment, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and the general public.
