What you need to know about summer travel in the Pacific Northwest

Idaho

Until recently, Idaho’s state parks and recreation areas were open to residents only, with out-of-state visitors subject to a 14-day self-quarantine. Now, according to Idaho State Parks and Recreation, visitors from outside of Idaho only need quarantine if coming from “known hot spots where there has been community spread of the virus.”

As part of the Idaho Rebounds plan, park use in the state will broaden to include campsites as early as May 30. Also starting May 30 is Stage 3 of the state’s reopening phase which says “non-essential travel can resume to locations that allow it and do not have ongoing transmission,” provided individuals continue to adhere to CDC guidelines for social distancing.
